4The Failsworth
Volunteer Centre aims to
encourage volunteering and community spirit in Failsworth.
We
provide a venue for active community groups who need office
space and meeting facilities, and also as a base for advice
services run by volunteers, such as the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Through the
centre, and this website we aim to act as a central resource for
volunteering in Failsworth, Woodhouses and Daisy Nook.
The centre is
run entirely by volunteers who offer their time freely. We hope you
consider using some of your free time to help others in
Failsworth and the surrounding area. As we develop
we will provide organised activities for volunteers to help
improve our town.
